Good point. Who was the CO of the three or four boats? I read somewhere it wasn't Kerry. But then those on the other boats didn't "serve" with Kerry!
He said Kerry did what he wanted. They weren't there to shoot but were doing something else like delivering stuff, I forget. But they'd be passing an empty village and Kerry would, contrary to orders, take his boat to that village and shoot it up no matter what was or wasn't there. Unfortunately I can recall details but rarely remember names.
