I think Kerry sticks out like a sore thumb most anywhere. He's an awkward lookin' fella. Anywho, we all know now that he was given a green camouflage "lucky" hat to wear while in Cambodia. It made him invisible. :) Other white males were in Cambodia. Why not Kerry?

I don't think you're quite getting the drift here...

In 1968 there were officially NO Americans in Cambodia... it was illegal for them to be there. If an American showed up in Cambodia it would have been a major international incident.

Since we couldn't be in Cambodia, I don't think anyone would be taking a loud, large American boat up the river "5 miles inside Cambodia". It would be too obvious and it would have never made it back. The border was crawling with VC and Cambodians.
