Once it seemed as if Amber would follow Scott to the ends of the Earth, but this was only Redwood City. Amber had indeed followed her feckless lover here, but this time to try to push the lying lout into a quick death by lethal injection.
And to do that, she would have to spill.

yes, you are correct..women are "hard-wired" to choose the mate that can protect and pro-create more of the same..you literally have no choice on whom you are attracted to...its the alpha male, the leader, the risk-taker, the protector, and because of this, this type of male gets a LOT of opportunities to be with multiple partners....and the women love (hate) it.

Liz, what Peterson did is unjustifiable but here's my opinion. He is certainly mentally unbalanced but my guess is that he also did not love a strong-willed woman anymore and thought he could collect on some insurance if he could get away with murder. I don't think this was solely about being denied sex in the last months of his wife's pregnancy. Look at how tender and romantic he was to Amber. Amber probably seemed vulnerable and needed him, compared to Laci who was probably too strong-willed for his weak character.
I don't think that men are the only ones loopy in this regard -- meaning, they would betray their marriages at the drop of a hat. Look at how many women fawned over Clinton -- married women. There was the married journalist who, when challenged by his predlictions, said she would give Clinton a bl-wjob "just for keeping abortion legal." And, once in a border crossing line I saw a woman, standing with her husband, look at the photo of the President and say, "Whatever he did, he's not so bad" with a dreamy look in her eye.
Thought I'd provide a perspective from a happily-married, 47-year old Christian man with three children.

Scott's ingratiating himself w/Amber's little girl was an all-time low...even for him. He said in his phone conversations that he did not want any more kids. Hmmmmmmmm.
It was the body. Put a bag over the rest. His wife was 8 months pregnant, probably couldnl't "do it" because it was uncomfortable for her, so he killed her in favor of a slut he picked up somewhere.

The media's endless comments about Scott walking are beyond irresponsible and I wonder if Mark Hacking didn't think he too could 'walk' away from murdering his pregnant wife.
After all, the leftists blamed Andrea Yates for her murdering her children in cold blood.

I also. A friend of mine was dating a woman for a while. He does not drink, lie or do drugs and has a good job, owns his own home and has nice savings and is somewhat ambitious and goes to church every Sunday. However while he is not ugly he is avarage looking. The woman has since broken up with him to go onto several "Pretty boys" that treat her like crap/cheat on her etc. She is good looking but not fantastic. The last guy quit his job and moved in with her.
I just don't get it.
