Agreed! And .. I remember a comment which was said by Gore's mother, when Gore was being considered as a running mate for Clinton .. she warned him and said something like: that guy is bad news, and you shouldn't get involved with him and his corrupt people [paraphrase].
Gore might have survived insanity if he had just listened to his mother's wisdom.
