To speak out against the Swiftboat Vets. This ought to be a Barf-O-Rama.
sorry, don't know where that burp came from!
Does anyone know who those people are? Names, we need names.
The Bronze Star citation recites that Kerry was under fire when the helping hand was extended. That vital point is vigorously disputed.
"I want this man to give the details, like he just said I was a passenger on his boat."
"This guy spent how long as a passenger on Kerry's boat that day? 4 hours? 8? 12? And he's qualified to make a determination on Kerry's abilities to command, and the guys who dealt with him day after day aren't? He was on Kerry's boat that day. Was it the first and only time he'd been on Kerry's boat. It sure sounds like it. So Kerry pulls him out of the water saving his life, yet the two of them never see or speak to each other for over 30 years after the incident until Kerry runs for President. What's wrong with this picture?"
So many unanswered questions and if orielly thinks he has ended what he calls a controversy then his mind is a blank slate.
Orielly did not bother to ask the questions that tell the story of Who, What, Where, When and Why, he is an idiot.
Tank God Newt was on to add some perspective to Oriellys pandering.
Newt is right. This is likey to haunt Kerry right up to the election.
You must have been watching different interviews.
You hate O'Reilly so much your comments are virtually worthless.
I used to admire O"Reilly and think he was after the truth. Now, he has shown his stripes as no better than a carney barker and self-promoter. I don't hate him. I just think he is a big-mouth who likes to hear himself talk and is not interested in getting to the bottom of a REAL story and should do a heck of a lot better for his audience!
My comments were "right on", which is more than I can say about O'B's questions.
Maybe Orielly has a guilt complex for not serving and he is friends with JFKerry and he is an idiot.
In his Wall Street Journal piece, this guy Kerry rescued referred repeatedly to Swift boat Vets for Truth as "Swiftboat Veterans For Bush". That has the stink of DNC rewriting about it, and in fact the whole piece read as if it were drafted by professional spinmeisters on the Kerry payroll.
Sent this off last night...
Bill,
You claim to have reserched the SwiftVets issue but I'm hearing a great deal of Democratic spin being regurgitated without challenge. Since there are several sources
of facts that rebut that spin, all publicly available,
I will not list them here. Allow me, however to ask two questions.
1. Has Kerry signed "Standard Form 180" and released his military medical records?.
2. Has Kerry sued anybody for libel?.
If not, why not?.
What say you?.
End of letter
Parenthetically, the lack of a libel suit, as opposed to threats of one, show that Kerry is NOT willing to risk the discovery process and all that goes along with it.
"Newt thinks this is the answer to Michael Moore."
Michael Moore's movie is a lie on its face. (More than 50 distinct, documented lies).
The Swift Vets have signatures from dozens of decorated superior officers who commanded Kerry or his units.
"Rassmann is not telling the whole story."
Maybe he is. He was just a passenger on the boat and fell off in the river. He knows Kerry picked him up out of the water. He probably believes Kerry did save his life. At this point, he might wish he had never given that phone call to Kerry. A few minutes of fame might not be worth all the grief he is now going thru.
Why don't I feel sorry for the poor guy - he looks pathetic?
Not that I heard.

Hey, we now have a "Swift boat passenger" for JFKerry.
"Can someone check on Rassmans voter registration. He says he is a Republican but I doubt it..."
Wait a sec- I heard him say right after the Dem Convention he HAD been a Republican but is now a Democrat...
..Quick Waffle Lessons have paid off, eh?
I have been so put off by oreilly for some time. He spins the same as he claims he does not allow. He, like Rush at one point in time, is bloated with himself--will he get over it--please??
Like Kerry misspoke when he initially said he wasn't at the November '71 VVAW meeting in Kansas City, Mo., where assassination of U.S. Senators was talked about.
For the most part the few shows I have seen, O'R bloviates for the entire show and then magnanimously tells the guest they have the last word.
Bill needs to realize that these men signed sworn affadavits and there are after action reports about exactly what happened.
Anyone think Bill will have John O'Neill on the program?
