Rassmann is not telling the whole story.

Rassmann challenges SBV coming out as self serving, what they have been saying is not true, says they have right to dissent. Interesting, he then invokes Thomas Jefferson when talking about Kerry's dissent in the VVAW ... well, why doesn't that same right transfer to the SBV?

Not worth watching the rerun folks, Rassmann was well coached but didn't really say anything.

Rassmussen in the final word spouted the EXACT DNC talking point of "Duty to dissent" BS. Kerry's dissent (lies) of vietnam made him patriotic, said rasmussen.

Mr Oreily, where are the demands for kerry to release ALL his records?

Is everyone in the media giving kerry time to shread or fabricate records?

That about sums it up except Rasmussen tried to say he was just a passenger etc & OR cut him off saying "well you were there etc' but other than that there was little substance.

As I understand it, John O'Neill is a registered Dem. I hope some fellow Freeper can confirm this.

You hate O'Reilly so much your comments are virtually worthless.

The interview was OK, just as his interview with Gardner was OK.

Baldwin said, "the big stars never talk about their political beliefs" trying to explain why he's not successful. In other words, he's a martyr for the cause.

Rassmann is not telling the whole story.

In fairness to Rassman, he never got a chance. All he did was act as a foil for O'Blowhard.

Now Newt is on...

"I want this man to give the details, like he just said I was a passenger on his boat."

This guy spent how long as a passenger on Kerry's boat that day? 4 hours? 8? 12? And he's qualified to make a determination on Kerry's abilities to command, and the guys who dealt with him day after day aren't? He was on Kerry's boat that day. Was it the first and only time he'd been on Kerry's boat. It sure sounds like it. So Kerry pulls him out of the water saving his life, yet the two of them never see or speak to each other for over 30 years after the incident until Kerry runs for President. What's wrong with this picture?

O'Reilly just said Kerry "misspoke" when he said his memory of being in Cambodia was seared into his mine. Puh-lease. Why is O'Reilly taking Kerry's word over that of 250 SwiftBoat vets?

This is good for truth. Rassmann also deserves to have his story heard. I doubt O'Reilly has planned to ask any probing questions, but soemtimes facts or assertions fall out fortuitously.

Newt thinks this is going to be a mess all the way through the election.

Newt says Kerry's record is muddled and confused, two or three versions of the same story.

O'Blowhard thinks it's a mistake for GOP to get involved.

Newt thinks this is the answer to Michael Moore.

"You think so? I'm not so sure. It's hard to dispute after action reports, etc.

We can't let this story die."

After 30 + years this guy supposedly finds out that he is mentioned in Brinkley's book about the great war hero JFKerry.

He is in Southern California and goes into a bookstore to check out the book. Low and behold there he is mentioned in the midst of this book.

Next thing he is on a plane in IOWA to save JFKerry's campaign.

Rassmann is not telling the whole story.

I agree.

Rassman has got to be bought-- this is incomprehensible to me. How could he shill for a traitor like Kerry?

Te-ray-za's money is the only thing that makes sense.

Because O'Reilly has a messianic complex and he has judged Kerrys veracity as wanting but irrelevant.

Either that or he suffers from a terminal case of veteran envy, a common affliction among the elite baby boomer types.

I was under the impression that Newt equated the Switftvets to Michael Moore.

Please tell me I'm wrong.

Newt says Kerry is giving an "elegant series of waffles" on the Iraq War. He asks if Kerry can charm the French and Germans into Iraq? He doesn't think so.
