From the Santa Monica Mirror:
According to Airport officials, about 600 people are expected to attend the event, which is scheduled from 4 to 9 p.m..
At presstime, it was not known whether Bush would travel to the airport by motorcade, helicopter or a small jet. His own plane, Air Force One, is too large to land at the municipal airport.
The ANSWER Coalition L.A. has scheduled a demonstration at 5 p.m. at the intersection of Ocean Park Boulevard and 31st Street, which is roughly two blocks north of the hanger.
Kerry will end his cross-country tour here, and is said to be planning to spend Thursday and Friday here.
Santa Monica Police are working with the Secret Service on security measures, and will be monitoring the demonstration to ensure that it is confined to the sidewalks.

Wifey used to work close to the Santa Monica airport and once went on the roof of the building to watch Ronald and Nancy Reagan arrive on a helicopter from LAX...they then motorcaded it over to the Century Plaza Hotel (maybe 3 or 4 miles from there) where they always stayed when in Los Angeles.
