well, obviously, if your daughter is gonna have anal sex with a dozen men on film, it's logical that you'd wwant to "protect her" and keep the profits in the family..

For starters, with pictures of the daughter. For research purposes only of course.

I don't approve of his choice of an occupation but its a very lucrative business. As long as he isn't breaking the law, he should be free to pursue happiness as he sees fit.

"People who knew Schwarz as a Republican legislator twice elected to represent a conservative House district in southern Colorado say they can't fathom his being part of the $6 billion porn industry."
Being a Republican does not necessarily mean you are a person of faith.
To: dukeman
Schwarz says he works on the decidedly unsexy side of the porn business - managing the warehouse in Canoga Park, marketing tapes and DVDs, and overseeing payroll and collections - and spends no time on the production side, where the movies are shot and edited. No mention of the method of depreciation of the business assets.
To: dukeman
Wow! Where do you start with this one? Probably with this line that's buried in the middle of the article:
Schwarz's willingness to further the adult-film career of his adopted daughter by marketing and distributing her films is baffling to some.
Not that it makes it any less disturbing (to me), but it certainly takes out some of the initial shock value. Hell, Woody Allen is boinking his adopted daughter...

Where do you start with this one?We start with a guy who, when he wanted to go into politics, joined the party that was most popular in his district and voted with the other reps in his party when he was elected in order to help his career.
It's called opportunism and it's not very rare.
With him we have the additional twist that he is, if not an actual child molester, a child-porn enthusiast.
When he was arrested he knew that he could never be elected as a Republican ever again.
Meanwhile his stepdaughter was busy becoming a porn star.
Now, women in the porn industry are generally victims of child sexual abuse and/or neglect. It wouldn't surprise me if this guy's stepdaughter's entry into the porn world and his personal proclivities didn't have a disturbing link somewhere in the past.
He is a pervert and his daughter is, sadly, a whore.
Luckily, he wasn't able to fool the Repubican voters forever.
