REDWOOD CITY, Calif She's been described as a mistress, a massage therapist and lithesome blonde, but this week Amber Frey gets a new designation: Witness #102.
The 29-year-old is expected to take the stand at the capital murder trial of former paramour Scott Peterson Tuesday morning. Her testimony, estimated to last eight days, is the most hotly anticipated of the 11-week-old proceeding. Court officials held a special lottery to accommodate press demand for extra seats in the courtroom, and county employees installed new speakers in an overflow media listening area to ensure Frey's girlish voice will carry to ........

Peterson girlfriend to take the stand
Amber Frey testimony has media salivating
By Jason Dearen, STAFF WRITER
REDWOOD CITY -- On the first day of Scott Peterson's double-murder trial, prosecutors played a grainy recording of the Modesto man reading poetry to his girlfriend, Amber Frey.
"We take cover from the worst of the storm, with a greatcoat round our shoulders and my hands around your waist," said Peterson, quoting Boris Pasternak's poem "Hops" before Frey stopped him.
"What are you talking about?" she asked.
The poem finishes, "You intoxicate me! Let's spread the greatcoat on the ground." Peterson later explains the poem: "I was thinking of you sexually."
Frey is expected to take the witness stand today after 11 weeks of buildup. Prosecutors hope the jury will convict Peterson of murdering his wife and unborn child based largely on the Fresno masseuse's testimony and the hours of secretly recorded phone calls between the two........

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- Amber Frey, Scott Peterson's former mistress and the prosecution's star witness in Peterson's double murder trial, is likely to take the stand Tuesday.
"I expect her to testify tomorrow," Gloria Allred, Frey's attorney said Monday. She added she expected Frey to be on the stand "a considerable amount of time."
But the court may first take time to resolve recently discovered evidence that defense attorneys say is "potentially exculpatory."
The judge last week declared a two-day halt to the case so defense attorneys could investigate the evidence, which defense attorney Mark Geragos said could point suspicion away from his client......

SACRAMENTO -- Now that Scott Peterson has asked for public help with his legal bills, lawmakers are hardening their resolve against a subsidy for the double-murder trial.
"Paying the defense costs of one high-profile criminal trial is not a high priority," said Assemblyman Darrell Steinberg, D-Sacramento, who chairs the Budget Committee.
Even state Sen. Jeff Denham, R-Merced, who has led efforts for Stanislaus County and the city of Modesto to receive state aid for the investigation and prosecution of Peterson, said a potential state bailout should not include money for a "Hollywood ..........

New Tarp, tape tested for links to Laci Peterson's body california
Plastic sheeting and duct tape found near Laci Peterson's remains in April 2003 are being examined for fingerprints and the victim's fluids, after East Bay Regional Park District police revealed to prosecutors this week that the tarp had smelled like a dead body, according to sources close to the case.
The plastic, which has also been described as a large, clear bag with the manufacturer's emblem "Target Products" printed on it, was collected by investigators. But it was never tested to determine whether it could have been used to dispose of the eight-months-pregnant woman even though investigators first on the scene thought it was a good possibility, according to sources.
Prosecutors say Laci Peterson's body was tossed into San Francisco Bay and weighted down with concrete anchors. The chance that she was wrapped in the ........

I think there are going to be lots of stares, and glares coming from the Peterson's side.... And maybe looks of intimidations! Geragos better watch it!
women still are being classed into catagories! Remember, Scott was married, and Amber was single and looking. Scott was committing adultry. And it just takes 2 to tangle.
Can't even imagine what composure Scott will portray. Bet he's been practicing for weeks.
Guys are put in categories as well. One glance at Scott is sufficient to categorize him as a jerk. He might as well have jerk written on his forehead. It's so obvious the way in which his looks betray his lifestyle, it's as if he has a subliminal loudspeaker bellowing jerk, jerk jerk.
possible more tears?
LOL.... jerk! I think snake is for sure! ;o)

Target serves the western region of the United States from six conveniently located branch locations and provides products and services to the following industries, in both the private and public sector: structural pest control, landscape construction and maintenance, golf course maintenance and turfgrass maintenance, production nursery, industrial vegetation management, aquatic, forestry and vector control. To serve these markets successfully, the company has had to maintain a clear focus on intelligent growth - growth that stresses both service and quality.
When it was established in Gardena, California, 1969 (as A.S.L. Chemicals) by John Sarpolis and three investors: John Anderson, Robert Strom and Richard Lovejoy, the company operated with only two employees. Today, Target Specialty Products employs over 100 professionals who share in a vision of total quality.
Some key events mark the growth of the company. In 1972, the company moved to Cerritos, California and changed its name to Target Chemical Company. As Target entered new product and geographic markets throughout the 1970's and 1980's, branch offices were opened in San Jose, Fresno, San Diego, and Phoenix, Arizona. In 1998 Target Specialty Products opened its newest branch office in Portland, Oregon giving the company the operational capability to serve the entire western United States.
As Target's reach became broader, so did its product line. Therefore, in 1986 the company changed its name to Target Specialty Products to signify a wider selection of products.
In 1993 the company adopted the total quality process, focusing on improvements in efficiency and customer service. As a result of further growth, the company moved to a larger, more functional corporate headquarters and distribution facility in Santa Fe Springs, California.
Target Specialty Products will continue to focus on intelligent growth, serving the needs of customers and employees into the 21st Century."
