Not sure why you think this, Porter Goss has the best insights into the enemy at home as well as abroad. He's worked side by side with these lying liberals.

I view him as an apologist for the CIA regarding some of the failures in the last few years. Porter Goss came from the CIA that was mainly focused on threats related to the Cold War. I question how successful he'll be in this new environment.

Congress and the President sets the parameters of what the CIA does.

CIA has been a "political" tool and continually gets the "grade" card when those that fund and control the who, what, where, when and why of this agency, point the finger of blame for any and all failures.

Congress allocates the money, and they have the oversight and somehow always get a pass and no accounting for this half@ss work.

According to reports i heard, Goss
critiqued the CIA's "risk-averse"
mindset in some public way, & went
on to name specific reforms. When
Tenet learned of it, he fired off
a blistering, defensive letter to
Goss in rebuttal.
