"The senior staff believes the media is committed to seeing us win this thing, and that the convention inoculated us from these kinds of stories. The senior guys really think we don't have a problem here." This comment has got to be a joke. Tell me it's a joke.
Well...is it?

The only thing surprising is to see this verbalized for attribution. The 'Rats know full well the MSM will help Kerry bury this mess, if possible. This is the critical test, IMHO. If the MSM can ignore this stinkin' pile in the middle of the Living Room carpet, I will never trust them again.

I say it's true. There are so many people who don't question the media at all, and they clearly want to elect Kerry. Besides, some of the information (probably just a wee bit) from conservative vets has been exaggerated. For example, Lt. Thomas Wright claimed to be Kerry's senior officer and was among those who asked him to leave. And yet the recent swiftboats vets open letter doesn't include his name among the list of Kerry's "commanders." I think we should keep our story above board, accurate, and carefully-researched.
We know that Kerry came home and opposed the war. We know that he fraternized with people who were supported by Jane Fonda. We know that he said things in public that helped the Viet Cong win the war.
That is enough for us. Stick to the facts we know. Keep bringing them up again and again.
America can't afford to have another Black April 1975.

Kerry ia beginning to look more and more like CANDIDATE Clinton.....Clinton was the Energizer Bunny.....kept going and going and going .....right into the WH.
GWB has got to stop himself from looking like a "candidate desperate for votes". He's the president of the USA and he must consider Kerry as the pretender to the office.

This is no joke. The so called "Mainstream Media" are die hard liberals and they control 90% of the information and propaganda put out to the public. It is almost a Star Chamber.
What is left is under a vicious attack. The Democrats under the heading of Congress,John Conyers and 4 others sent FOX and veiled threat and accused them of portraying George Bush in to favorable of a light.
Out nation is under assault by the Democrats and the Terrorist and I believe the Democrats are more overall detrimental to our well being because the control the Judicial System through Liberal Lawyers.
America is headed toward a "Dictatorship" if we are not careful and it is closer than most people think.
The upcoming election is strictly about the Supreme Court and everything else is secondary over the long haul!

Oh, it is absolutely what they believe, and in that belief they are correct .. however, it is limited vision ...
the delusional "senior staff" considers "the media" to be only their friends at ABC/NBC/CBS/CNN/FOX/WASHPOST/NYT/BOSTONGLOBE, et al.
They don't factor in such below the radar media as the internet or talk radio.
Their blissful ignorance should and will be used against them... the internet is not only a fundraising mechanism.

The media are a bunch of prostitutes.
It does seem the media would like a screw-up like John Kerry, aka Kaptain Ketchup, win. Why? Kerry would be so ineffective at prosecuting the War Against Terrrorism, that the media would be guaranteed a long series of terrorist events to write stories about.
