For example, Lt. Thomas Wright claimed to be Kerry's senior officer and was among those who asked him to leave. And yet the recent swiftboats vets open letter doesn't include his name among the list of Kerry's "commanders."

Not quite correct...

Thomas Wright was one of John F. Kerry's fellow Swift boat officers in Vietnam. Since Wright outranked Kerry, he was Kerry's sometime boat group Officer-in-Charge, so Wright had occasion to observe Kerry’s behavior and attitudes, and the circumstances surrounding his early departure from the war zone.

So...he was not on the list of Commanders because he was NOT a Commander, he was a fellow Officer. And you doubt him just because he didn't put his name on a letter?

Raving has the answer to my question about Lt. Wright, who was introduced by a thread headline as "Kerry's commanding officer."

He was on missions with Kerry and he was superior in rank.

Not quite correct...

I'll ask the mods to change the title of that thread.
