"The senior staff believes the media is committed to seeing us win this thing, and that the convention inoculated us from these kinds of stories." Duh.

"The senior staff believes the media is committed to seeing us win this thing, and that the convention inoculated us from these kinds of stories. The senior guys really think we don't have a problem here."
This statement should be the headline on every newspaper in the country if they were honest. The senior staff just confirmed that most major news organizations are a schill for the Democratic party. Very sKerry indeed to unwittingly admit that media news is not about facts or news at all but about furthering a political agenda. The media today is no better than the yellow journalism of the past.

Arrogance seems to be the real policy of the Kerry campaign.

The campaign source said that the book was not considered a "serious" problem for the campaign, because, "the media wouldn't have the nerve to come at us with this kind of stuff," says the source.
A rather haughty and cavalier attitude isn't it.
Will "the media" consider this a thrown gauntlet? If they do he is more than just burnt toast.
