Thanks Vel. I'm not sure what that could mean - a "micro burst". What do you make of it?

A 'micro burst' is caused by rapidly descending cold air from a thunderstorm that is weakening. They can cause 100mph+ straight-line winds. One brought down a plane landing at DFW about 15 years ago.

It's entirely different from a microwave burst, but could certainly knock a radio station offline if it hit their tower.

I think "micro burst" is a weather related term.

I was curious about the reported objects in the sky as well. More weather balloons?
