South Carolina Could Be Destination for Christian Exodus

Aug. 12, 2004 — Cory Burnell has given up on ever seeing the U.S. government adopt a conservative Christian agenda, so he and others who share his beliefs are trying to take matters into their own hands.



Burnell, 28, is one of the founders of ChristianExodus.org, a group that hopes to gather conservative Christians for a series of mass moves to South Carolina. The goal is to bring enough voters to the state to establish a government based on the Ten Commandments and conservative Christian values.

On one hand that South Carolina location sounds great, on the other, grouping all creates vulnerability to attack at one location. Thinking of the Left Behind books as I read your post and how well-written they are when we look at today's world.

I am packed... When can me & mine move? BTW, I mentioned dividing the U.S. in half and sending all the libs and dems to live in one half with all the laws (and lawlessness) they like so much. I mentioned it here on FR during the clintoon impeachment scandal. But, hey, I'll take a state for starts. :)
