He flips, he prevaricates, he exaggerates but he never, ever tells the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
Kerry lying is not the important issue (even if it is important to me). His campaign people don't have the skills. If someone did not actually get this story from Mary Ann first, to use and then arrange a meeting to make it happen, then they are stupid, lazy, and not doing their jobs. It shows.
But more importantly, this is being reported. The dam is busting. The Swift Vets story is not going away. There is probably more coming, and it won't be pretty.
