Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign was scrambling Monday night to deal with new charges that he fabricated claims he was dispatched to Cambodia during the Vietnam War.
Confronted by Fox News Channel's Carl Cameron over the top Democrat's earlier accounts that he was in Cambodia in Dec. 1968, the Kerry campaign at first denied their candidate had said any such thing.

Other than FOX News, have any of the other networks addressed the Christmas in Cambodia story? To my knowledge, they have not.

As of the start of Special Report, Carl is reporting that the kerry campaign is still saying that he was 'near' Cambodia and not 'in' Cambodia. They apparently had no response on the quotes in kerry's own words saying that he was in Cambodia.
"At least three of the five crewmen on Kerry's boat, Bill Zaldonis, Steven Hatch, and Steve Gardner, deny that they or their boat were ever in Cambodia."
The crew members who are supporting him should be asked if they were in Cambodia or Sa Dec(sp?) that night.
How much you wanna bet the slimeball will back up and say - "I was actually writing poetry - speaking metaphorically - of all the soldiers and sailors trapped in illegal combat in Cambodia....man."
