You all are surprised that this was going to be a slanted piece in favor of Kerry. I wasn't when I saw who was the reporter doing the piece and refused to watch it. Here's what I posted this afternoon on Traper from the ABC website.

Jake Tapper
ABCNEWS Correspondent, Washington, D.C.

Jake Tapper is an ABCNEWS correspondent based in the network's Washington bureau. He covers a range of national stories.

The author of two books, Tapper has significant print, broadcast, and online experience. He has most recently been the national correspondent for Salon.com, writing on a range of topics from political profiles to the accounting scandal at Enron. Tapper was also a columnist for TALK Magazine, and has written for The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, The Washington Post, and The Weekly Standard, among many other publications.

He is a frequent contributor to National Public Radio's All Things Considered. Tapper's work was included in The Best American Political Writing 2002.

Tapper has also frequently reported on American popular culture. He was the host of The Sundance Channel's 24 Frame News in 2003 and he was the correspondent for a series of VH1 news specials in 2002.

Throughout 2001, Tapper appeared on the CNN news talk show, Take Five. He has served as a substitute host on a number of CNN programs including The Point, Crossfire, and The Spin Room.

Tapper was the Washington correspondent for Salon.com from March 1999 to March 2002. His writing for Salon.com has received widespread critical acclaim, and Tapper broke a number of stories including candidate President Bush's controversial trip to Bob Jones University during the 2002 presidential campaign. Tapper's reports about Enron were nominated for a 2002 Columbia University School of Journalism online journalism award.

He is the author of Down and Dirty: The Plot to Steal the Presidency, (Little, Brown) a look at the Florida recount, and Body Slam: The Jesse Ventura Story (St. Martin's Press).

Tapper's political comic strip, "Capitol Hell" appeared in Roll Call from 1994 until 2003. He began his journalism career as a senior writer for Washington City Paper. He won a Society of Professional Journalists award for his work there. Tapper is a Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude graduate of Dartmouth College.

Isn't he the queer who worked for Salon and slobbered on the door handle at the GOP convention in 2000 when he was sick?
