I spent Christmas about 1/4-1/2 mile off
the shore of North Vietnam in the Gulf of Tonkin.

On Oct 31st Johnson ended Rolling Thunder
and all ships went South

All except my destroyer, USS Corry DD 817

We ate hot dogs and chips
AND loved it!
