I used to think that would be the case, but that was when he had a really popular uprising going. Now he's just being a pain to the Iraqis and Coalition and his troups are being dessimated. I think the best thing would be to 'splat' him. That would demoralize his followers and I doubt if he would be seen as a martyr as originally feared because he's not popular with the mullahs or regular Iraqis.
