Kerry train snubs supporters. (Imus ranch kids)

Imus on his Monday morning show spend quite a bit of time roasting Kerry and his campaign management for snubbing his supporters at Imus ranch in New Mexico. Kerry's train was scheduled to pass through Imus Ranch, where children with cancer are spending time and Imus was trying to reach campaign stuff through Tom Brokaw and have them stop, or slow down to wave to the kids and supporters at the ranch. Rail tracks pass through the ranch property and trains are forced to slow down passing through the S curve, so Imus and the kids were hoping that they would have a chance to see or wave at their favorite candidate. Fat chance. All they saw was bunch of smokers at the rear platform of the train. Imus was quite disappointed and commented how much they supported Kerry and how their wives are friends, etc.

This is another "thank you" to Kerry's supporters after they failed to stop at the scheduled train stop and Edwards had to come back and appologize. Looks like they are confident in the the election victory and "don't need no more stinkin' support" :-)

While I read this article the first thought/image that popped into my mind was Michael Jackson.
Here, he has these kids suffering from cancer at his ranch. Everything is provided for free. And when they are not out riding horses or fixing fence posts, they are attending DNC indoctrination lectures. These poor parents, whose every last nickle goes to the care of their sick children, jump at the chance for their kids to have an all expense paid vacation courtesy of the I-man. Then the kids come home thoroughly indoctrinated in the I-man's beliefs. The parents, so grateful to have had this opportunity, willingly throw their support behind anyone that Imus tells them to.

Seems Kerry snubs a lot of little people, or makes promises he doesn't intend to keep. Like that incident, which I learned about on FR, in Milwaukee last week when he said he was going to a rib restaurant and then didn't show. The people waiting for him there were disappointed. Mr and Mrs Billionaire then dined at a fancy restaurant in another part of town. No, they're not snobs at all.

I heard something on the news that weekend about the train blowing through an area where supporters were waiting to greet Kerry. Is this the same incident or was there another. The Fox Allstars were laughing about the incident. I find it hard to believe that they'd be lauhing if children with cancer were the ones snubbed. Just curious if this is a "lone" incident or if there have been others.

I believe he also blew through Topeka Kansas, where supporters were waiting to see him. They seem to have trouble finding the brakes on that train. Mrs PD
