When Pat Buchanan was running in the primaries last election, he wore a black hat. My mom, who was a supporter at the time, thought it was a mistake for him to have not worn a white one.
It rather looks as though Kerry's hat doesn't fit very well, sort of just perched on his hair. It's also out of proportion, too much in the top part. The President knows how to wear his and it's not some sort of 10-gallon deal.
