God I hope so. I sent my $25 to the swift boat vets this morning. If the media keeps pissing me off, I'll keep sending money.
How? Forgive me, but sounding off on FR is, to coin a cliche that happens to fit, preaching to the choir.What else can we do? Writing your congressperson(s) is an exercise in futility IMO. Perhaps you and others have something else in mind.I'm eager to hear it.
On Friday, as I was writing the Swift Vets a check for $100 my 22 year old son handed me $50 and asked me to increase the check to $150.
Do we want to be party to bashing vets, even Kerry suppporters, when some of them may be real heroes?

If the dems actually pull this crap, I think they will be administering the "coup de gras" to themselves...nothing like shooting yourself in the foot, this time they are aiming for their own head...they are attacking the messengers not the message...Kerry needs to release his records..if he won't and this happens there will likely be a lawsuit and the records will be subpoened in discovery...I don't know if Kerry could stop their release on privacy grounds if the DNC is sued...it will be interesting....

This is great - Kerry's FOUR MONTHS in Vietnam being used as a major plank for potus? Hahahaha. All the Swift Boat Truth vets need to do is cast doubt on Kerry, basically just talk trash, appear on tv, and then get in on the book tour. Hey Dem's, you like dirty politics (Moore, Garafolo, Hollywood, Whoopi, Franken, et al)? Right back atcha. Awesome that Bush has distanced himself from this brutal fight. Getting into a boat with Kerry is like getting into a car driving over a bridge with Teddy K. - just don't do it.
