Unfortunately, I doubt it. They are ready in an instant to buy accusations that President Bush lied to the public to get us into Iraq, but not the lies of some snot-nosed, arrogant, histrionic, young Navy LT(jg) that wanted to get a JFK war record. Then turned traitor when he realized the wind of thought amoung the young voters he needed to elect him was to be anti-war.
The more I read about this smuck, the more I realize he is neither pro war or anti war, he just does what is best for John Kerry at the time.
Not without a lot of public pressure. Otherwise, they'll cover for him. Remember what it took to get a network to follow through on the Juanita Broadrick matter? One of their anchormen even threatened to quit if they covered that story. That's how determined the media are to cover up for their fellow democrats.
