If I personally wanted to pay for this ad to be aired - as an individual - WHAT right does anyone have to deny me? Especially the government?

If someone attempted to stop my First Amendment Rights - I will use my Second Amendment Rights to ENFORCE my rights as was the intent of that amendment.

In the circumstance you describe, pure self-funding, there is no law requiring reporting, etc.

However, Campaign Fianance Reform, and a host of laws before that, circumscribe a limit on your financial assistance to others who are speaking out, as well as reporting rules for them. These laws were passed by Congress, signed into law (George W. Bush signed the most recent), have been tested in the Supreme court, and are in effect.

None of these laws apply to media.
