I dunno. I think their strategy is that they don't have to convince the military vets (who's votes they aren't going to get anyway), they only have to convince the average ninny on the street. But if the average ninny on the street chooses to believe the vets rather than the duplicitous 'rats, then they have real problems.

I agree. But to a certain extent the Republicans have a similar problem. I don’t believe that there are many truly undecided voters this election. But, there is a large group of disgruntled conservatives, like me, who would rather either not vote at all or vote for the Constitution Party. We need to be reminded just how bad Kerry is in order to motivate us to vote for Bush. With most of the Democrats in “anybody but Bush mode” and many Conservatives needing to be in “anybody but Kerry mode”, this should be a very good election for negative advertising from either side.

With a man of Kerry's background and platform there is no better time to remember what Whittaker Chambers said.

I am a counter-revolutionist...I am a man of the right.

Please don't stay home, it would be shameful to contribute to a Kerry victory.
