That's not right. Dornan devolved into a clown. He's not well.

Keyes is brilliant. Alas, he has no place in today's GOP. You'll hear the smug GOP hacks snickering at him while saluting every hackneyed malapropism out of Bush's mouth.

Well, yes. But he was entertaining, and a fiery orator.

Keyes is an intellectual bulldog. The place for him in the GOP is up front, and showing teeth.

I'd vote for Keyes over Obama. In fact, I did vote for Keyes in '92, when he ran against Barbara Mikulski for Senate in Maryland. In fact, I even contributed money to Keyes in 1992. Having said that, let me ask:

Have you ever met the man? Have you ever worked with him?

A) Keyes is NOT brilliant, and B) If Keyes has no place in today's GOP, it is NOT due to his politics. It's due to the way he treats his supporters. It's due to the fact he owes back taxes and campaign debts. It's due to the fact he is smug, inexplicably arrogant, egotistical without reason, and more than a little hypocritical. Believe it.

There are reasons those who've worked closest with Alan Keyes want the least to do with him - and, again, those reasons have nothing to do with his politics. Nothing.

Keyes has no place in the GOP because he is not a team player. Long after Dubya won the primaries in 2000 Keyes continued to campaign. He did his best to elect Gore. Keyes only cares about himself and his opinion. He is not a servant of the people. He is your MASTER. If he is ever elected to a position of power( Thank God that has never happened!) and your opinion ever differers from Keyes's you will be the first against the wall. The far right fringe has no justification calling anyone else sheep.
