Ahh, but married, man'n'woman couples can do some of those,
well, unnatural things too, y'know...

Sorry, had to point that out.

On another note... I talked to a divorce attorney about gay marriage, and he's against it... because he's got enough of a caseload with heterosexual divorces. You'd think a lawyer would salivate at the prospect of more work.

LOL! That's OK, I knew someone would.

The fact is that the point of marriage is to create a family unit for the creation and protection of children, and thus perpetuate the human race.

Now, I know there are hetero couples that are infertile, and that homosexual couples could adopt or be impregnated by a third party.

But if you took, say, 50 homosexual couples and 50 heterosexual couples, most of the hetero couples could reproduce, but, (absent 3rd party assistance) NONE of the homosexual couples could.

The 'laws of nature' cannot be ignored.

Also, there is this pesky thing called the Constitution.

Nowhere in the federal OR any state Constitution is the power to 'define' anything other than punishments for crimes.

We've let them get away with defining crime *itself* for so long, now they're trying to redefine marriage.
