Dreamland on Jug Factory Road in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Aside from perhaps a bag of chips and beverages, there are two things served there. Ribs and white bread.

Their sauce is similar to most in the deep south, except with a little more kick and not gloppy like ketchup. The best I've ever had.

Above the door as you walk in there's a neon sign that says: NO FARTING.

I have to add my Favorite in CA and Florida.

Moorpark CA. The Barbecue Joint on High Street. It is southern style and if you live anywhere in driving distance, it is unlike any CA BBQ that I have had. Southern style BBQ is where it's at, and this is it for my area.

New Zion Missionary Baptist Church has been ranked #1 in Texas by Texas Monthly for the last several years and #1 in the nation by several magazines. Even #1 in the world.

And CBS: "One national magazine called it the best barbecue place in the world. And, the price is right: all you can eat for $8."

And FILMBBQ.COM: "Many Texans accept barbecue as sacred, but we've only found one place that makes it a part of their church. Welcome to New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, where four days a week, Ms. Annie Ward serves up BBQ that draws followers from around the globe. Written up in "GQ" as one of the top places to fly into to eat in the WORLD (only three in U.S.), no one can touch the hard work these ladies and their cooks put into what has been dubbed by outsiders "Holy Barbecue."

Two places in NYC where you'll never find Deaniac soybean eaters:

Virgil's in Times Square. The Texas Link and the brisket are my favorites. Also the best onion rings on earth.

And any of the Brother Jimmy's outposts. Go for the rib combo with three styles of ribs.

Must to avoid: The Dallas BBQ chain with parboiled ribs and 32-ounce neon-colored frozen drinks.

By far, the best BBQ I have ever eaten was at the Bar-B-Cutie in Nashville, TN. Although, those babyback ribs I had at WatchOutForSnakes house last week were pretty durn good too!

"I MET THE MAN" at Dixies BBQ

Bellevue, Wa.

The owner walks around with a pot of his homemade hot sause. He'll walk up to your table and ask "you boys met the man yet"? It will set your mouth on fire.
