And today's question is: When will we ever get control of our borders?

It's too late for that. If that was their plan, they are likely already in: men, materiel, explosives, biotoxins, isotopes, what have you. It is here, it could be anywhere. In a cargo truck, a FedEx van, an illegal alien landscaping truck.

We had a chance, a brief chance, post-9/11. But we utterly failed to protect our boundaries. God help us, I hope we got lucky and stopped whatever they had planned.

The Republicans are just as responsible here as the democrats, with the exception that at least the republicans are not obvious anti-American traitors.

I agree Montag. And we failed miserably.

Why does China get that their border must be protected, yet we don't? OTOH its doubtful that Mexico would be willing to do a joint anti-terror border exercise with us.

Chinese soldiers of the People's Liberation Army capture two supposed terrorists in a joint anti-terrorism military exercise named 'Friendship-2004' between China and Pakistan in Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County, northwest of China's Uygur Autonomous Region, bordering Tajikistan, Afghanistan (news - web sites) and Pakistan, Friday, Aug. 6, 2004.
