Ousted from office and still after his old job, Roy Moore still has some political fight left in him.
On Thursday, he was in Washington D.C. speaking to college students about the first amendment. But first, he appeared live on C-SPAN, and that is where he was asked about his future political plans. Moore said something we haven't heard since he was removed from office. When asked by the news anchor on C-SPAN, "Are you planning on running again?" Moore said, "Well, if I must. I must."
Moore did not elaborate on that statement. He is currently appealing his removal from office to the United States Supreme Court.
He must have really enjoyed his fifteen minutes of fame.
Let him run. It irritates the hell out of liberals and thats always fun to watch.
"Roy Moore Says He May Run Again"
Who!
Let the dogs out!
Last I heard he was planning on running for governor!
BTTT!!!!
Roy Moore is an honorable man who respects our Constitution. He merely refused to obey an illegal order. I believe either Ann Coulter or Michele Malkin made good observations about Moore.
Exactly.
Too many people went after him because he was a Christian....and in the process...showed their ignorance and missed a bigger issue.
The Federal Judge has no constitutional standing to make the ruling he made. IT WAS UNCONSTITUTIONAL TO ORDER THE REMOVAL OF THE MONUMENT. It is a 1st and 10th Amendment issue.
Moore was in the right. And whether one is a Christian, Jew, Atheist, or donkey....they should be scared as all get out about this. The Federal judge was allowed to violate both the 1st and the 10th Amendments.
There is a State's Rights issue here. Which is why the cowards at the Supreme Court have dodged it and are afraid to address the issue. They do not want to give up any ill gotten power.
Furthermore...the hearings that were used to oust Moore did not abide by regulatory guidelines for the Judiciary of the State of Alabama...nor did it abide by State laws.
Myron Thompson, the Federal Judge, has set a dangerous issue.
THINK OF IT THIS WAY...If Myron Thompson up and decided to rule that people in a state had to give up their homes to homeless people...Should the State Supreme Court Justices of said state abide by the illegal ruling...NO.
Yet so many people were upset that Moore did not wish to violate both State and US constitutional laws and follow Thompson's illegal ruling.
THOMPSON has absolutely no jurisdictional authority over the issue.
And when the federal government is allowed to weaken one or two of the Bill of Rights...it set precedent for them to do it with the other amendments on that list.
