Time Warner Inc. chairman Dick Parsons Friday described Fox News Channel as "crazy people exchanging views," telling a group of minority journalists in Washington he felt that the channel and his own Cable News Network are two different services.
When asked by Univision Anchor Jorge Ramos why CNN was losing the ratings battle with Fox, he was not ready to concede that. He said that Fox was more like talk radio on TV, which meant that its viewers stayed longer because people tended to "come and sit down for an hour or two and listen to crazy people exchange views." CNN actually draws more viewers, he said, but said they were grazers who didn't stay long.
Parsons said he did not feel CNN was liberal, but instead has a bias for the truth. He conceded that journalists are often perceived as liberal because they tend to challenge the establishment. He did not make an overt comparison with Fox, but he did say that his news operation "does not give a corporate slant to its journalism. We don't tell them how to report."
Whatta sore loserman.
I didn't see a lot of media challenge during the clinton years.
When all your friends are liberal, your view of reality isn't all that real.
How does Parson account for Bush being President, the House being Republican, and the Senate being Republican. Just the minority...
Drudge put up the appropriate picture to support Parsons assertion that it was crazy people exchanging views. Moore and O'Reilly are to news what Hulk and Ric Flair are to WWF. What needs to be said about all the other news organizations both cable and broadcast is that you have condescending journalists offering propaganda as news to a public that they view as to stupid to discern the difference.
CNN, CNBC, and MSNBC wish they could have O'Reilly and be so out of teh mainstream. They have, well I don't know, no one watches them and neither do I.
Uh...you said it, Dick.
CNN on. "Propaganda is boring." CNN off.
When folks like Dick Parson are upset, then I know FOX is on the right path!
In other words, CNN is "fly-over country" for TV remote control pilots.
That explains all the piles of cow patties you see on CNN.
Please FReepmail me if you want on or off my FoxFan list. *Warning: This can be a high-volume ping list at times.
Thanks for the ping!

GEE
Your network sucks dude admit it
CNN, the "Clinton News Network" is not liberal?? Gee, wish somebody told me that, I wouldnt have not watched them all these years. What really ticks me off is the deception they all try to pull. Like with the DNC. They knew that if they showed their true face to mainstream America that people would run away screaming, so they had to "act" like conservatives and not come across like the liberals they are. I'm not the smartest person on earth, but I know that was a sham, and I think any reasonably intelligent person would too. Same here with CNN. Its an election year, we have to all deny being liberal. Liberals can KMA
