Didn't they say, "I'm President Bush and I approved this messgage,"
That's the only part of the ad that was any good. Think about it... thats not a good sign.

Very good point. But if this is the case... shouldn't Bush be citing social issues in his ads?

A few months ago people were saying "polls don't matter at this point, its only May". If you still think that campaigns don't start until after labor day... you're dreaming.
Look, I still think Bush is going to win. But frankly I don't think his campaign is making the case properly and I don't like seeing so much complacency among conservatives. Everytime I point out that Bush's "positive" ads aren't making a point, people accuse me of being a Kerry supporter. How does wanting Bush to point out his Great record on fighting terrorism pro-kerry? How does wanting Bush to inform americans about recent economic growth make me pro-kerry?

Relax my friend.

There are three very powerful set of ads coming very soon.

Set1: Ads Showing all Kerry flip flops on the war in Iraq. They already made an 11 minutes video showing all the flip flops. This 11 minutes video of Kerry flip flops will be made into multiple one minute ads. These ads are utter devastation to Kerry.

Set2: Ads showing Kerry ultra liberal record on "social/cultural" and "economical" issues. These ads will play very strongly among conservatives including the minority of conservative Democrats.

Set3: President Bush leadership in the war on terror, defending America, taking us out of the depression through his tax cuts, his social and cultural values that are shared by most Americans. Also these ads will contain President Bush future plan in his next fur years term.

Not all these ads will be playing at the same and they will not be played everywhere. They will be played extensively in 10 to 15 states.

This was entirely expectable. I said 3 weeks ago, get ready for some ugly polls in the next few weeks. Why is everyone surprised, the rats just had their convention? I guess the early polling this week had everyone expecting the best.

Now, its our turn.

If you have not seen the 11 minutes video of Kerry flips flops on Iraq, please go to

http://www.demsextrememakeover.com

Again these flip flops will be put multiple in TV ads, and you will judge how devastating this is to John Kerry.

an 11 minute video is way too long for even me to watch... theyre going to have to make their point in 30 seconds... here's hoping they will be able to.

Bush needs to hit some very simple themes in his ads:

"every day since 9-11, I have worked to protect this nation. I have made the best decisions I could have to protect the American people. The challenges we face are difficult. It is very easy for my opponent to have 20/20 hindsight, he didn't have to lead the country in this effort, I did".

I hope so. He looks real and natural when he cutting wood and shrubs, unlike John Kerry who looks very clearly as a fake in anything he doing to show that he just a regular guy.

That is why it will be made into multiple TV ads that last from 30 seconds to one minute.

They need to be very direct and shocking to get attention, and make the case that John Kerry is weak on defense/terror. Make it clear that what Kerry wants is surrender and appeasement. If they can do that in a 30 second ad... game over.

In the 11 minutes video there are many clips showing Kerry supporting the war and many other clips showing Kerry against the war.

Now they will make multiple TV ads from these clips. Each TV ad will show two or three clips of Kerry supporting the war in Iraq, threat of WMD, removing Saddam, and then show two or three clips of him going against the war.

Also I think in each of these TV ads they will have his fatal mistake of voting against the 87 billion dollar, as well as the infamous "I voted for the 87 billion dollar before I voted against it. They want to hammer this point again and again and again.

Yep. Shouldn't peak too soon. There will be plenty of undecided voters yet in October and that is when Bush's team needs to hit the afterburners. Yes, it is importnat for Bush to be out there, but there is no need to get anxious about polls one way or the other. A lot can happen in 3 months.

Television ads represent only ONE method for reaching a targetted audience -- the President's team is using a multifaceted marketing strategy to reach conservatives within the Christian community [NOTE: Dr. Dobson, who is ACTIVELY supporting the President, discusses a few of these strategies in the article linked in my previous post!]
