Check out post #4, I bet you that Keyes however, will expect Bush to be a Keyes man.

I cut the quote off too early, here it is, in its entirety:
"Some of you may believe that the Clinton era was the most dangerous era that we faced as Americans and conservatives in the history of our country. I do not believe this. I believe that we are right now in the most dangerous era that we have faced as conservatives in America. And though I know it will be difficult for some of you, the sub-heading of this speech could very well be, "Why I am not a Bush Republican." And I want to make that clear. I want to make it clear from the outset, so you know where I stand and where I'm coming from and so I don't have to pull my punches here because I won't. " -- Alan Keyes, August 25, 2001

I thought you were worried about what losing would do to Keyes' career. I thought you'd do whatever it took to help him if you lived here.

Keyes has said a lot of irrational things about President Bush since the election. Yet he will insist that he has earned a prime time speaking spot at the national convention , unlike the other 30 GOP Senate candidates who won their primaries and who have supported President Bush.

(I resent Kerry telling me that his values, not mine are the only true American values.)
