That's what is wrong with this country. Everyone's afraid of the liberals. (Except Freepers, they are not afraid!)
It has been obvious for a long time that both Drudge Report and Fox News Channel do the eggshell routine. All FNC did in this case was decline to report a later-breaking "retraction retraction". They have plausible deniability that they haven't checked the sources yet on the "retraction retraction".
