Family Guy is hilarious.
I must say though, I never got Futurama. I borrowed a DVD set from a friend and I didn't even finish the first one. I just stopped watching it in the middle of the program.
Quite frankly, it is the most dull, boring "comedy" I have ever seen. I don't understand it...it is just snoozeville.
On the other hand, Family Guy is one of my favorite shows. It is the only program I own all the DVD sets of.
I can't wait to see that on Fox.

I think I caught the last family guy ever shown, It had a crack about Bush taking a girlfriend for an abortion, I changed the channel and never cared to see more.

Marryann

Great to know that "Family Guy" is going to be making a comeback. Next to "South Park" it was one of the most cutting shows on TV.

Is the animated Tick out on official DVD? I know they released the live action version but it just isn't worth it. I'd love to have the animated series, though.

I wonder how long it would take to do new episodes of Futurama. I'm sure all the voice talent is still "available."
I remember reading that episode production for the Simpsons, from idea to airing, takes about 8-10 months per episode. Obviously they have several teams working on each episode for a season. Hopefully they can whip out Futurama episodes for next spring.
Here's hoping.

The Leslie Nielsen from Forbidden Planet that is... Great flick. I saw it as a first run move when I was 12 years old. Scared the bejeebuz out of me.

Only a little. Al Bundy has been a major hoot for a lot of years but his attitude towards interaction with the lusty, busty Peg always mystified me. Xenalyte clarified it a bit...but I think his attitude would be a bit more believable if Katey Sagal wasn't cast as Peg in the first place. Maybe the stick who played Marcy...then maybe.
