The terrorist bandit Akhmadov is an associate of the evil Basaev!!! He should be arrested and investigated AT ONCE, and then deported to Russia!!!!

The National Endowment for "Democracy" was indeed established in the Reagan era. However, it is now run by clintonites,and has had or has such clintonite miscreants as Mad Halfbright and Wesley "General Jack D. Ripper" Clark on its board. The NED, a "human rightser" NGO funded in part with taxpayer money, has engaged in covert operations to overthrow the government of Serbia and influence subsequent elections. The head of the organization (who I believe was a Halfbright associate when she was at the UN) boasts about working in collaboration with George Soros and his foundation in funding NGOs and their subversive deeds.

Makes me think of Richard Holbrooke sitting down with the Kosovo Liberation Army bandits when the States Department still oficially called them "terrorists.

Nothing has changed. I am sure there are many in the West who kind of like the fact that Chechens are a sore in Russia's underbelly -- it keeps Russia bleeding and many think that's good.
