Tell The Boston Globe: FIRE Reporter Mike Kranish for Conflict of Interest (Swift Vets)
Drudge ^

Posted on 08/06/2004 11:24:45 AM PDT by jmstein7

If you haven’t heard yet, read the following from Drudge:

BOSTON GLOBE 'REPORTER' PAID TO WRITE CAMPAIGN BOOK FORWARD WHILE COVERING KERRY

BOSTON GLOBE reporter Mike Kranish made waves on Friday by reporting "a key figure in the anti-Kerry campaign, Kerry's former commanding officer, backed off one of the key contentions."

But Captain George Elliott claims the Kranish article is "extremely inaccurate" and highly misstated his actual views.

Oddly, journalist Kranish has been commissioned to write the forward of the official Kerry-Edwards campaign book -- just as he is covering the campaign in an official capacity as a journalist for the
BOSTON GLOBE!

This conflict of interest is outrageous!  This is a plain case of journalistic malpractice.

Call and email the Globe today – tell them to remove Kranish from the campaign coverage and/or FIRE him!

Thanks Civ.
The Democrats have been trying to stir up outrage in America with their claim that President Bush lied about weapons of mass destruction. It looks more and more like the WMDs are about to be found in a big way. Will the Americans then stop being outraged at lies, or will they turn on Kerry and his lies?

First off, thanks for bumpity-bumpin' me up there.

Yeah, the WMDs existed there. The guy who built Saddam's boomity-bomb fled to avoid what he thought was inevitable execution (since he'd done his part of the job, and the holdup was not enough fissionable material). That happened during the Clinton administration. The gas centrifuge used by the bomb program was turned in by some Joe Non-Sixpack in Baghdad, after the liberation. The gov't had buried it in his backyard and told him to keep mum.

And of course, Ted Kennedy, the Klintons, various Klinton Klansmen, John Kerry, and a host of others stated unequivocably for years that WMDs existed in Iraq.

IOW, the so-called Democrats only oppose Bush because of his political party, i.e., they don't care about US national interest. No surprise there, given Slippery Bill's record.
