It will be interesting to see how Rush and other "consrvative" commentators spin this. Many of them claimed the Hilliary is a carpetbagger route. For them not to denounce Keyes once again proves that we share in the style over substance problem we so often point our boney fingers at the dems for.

Two other things. We also screamed when the Jersye dems took out Toricelli and replaced him with Lautenberg. Replace a loser with a winner is what they did. Sadly in Illinois, they replaced a loser with another loser.

Also, by doing this, they ar giving Keyes the ability to do a Pat Buchanan on the party ala 1992. Believe me, Keyes will sing loudly to the choir, but turn off many others.

We seem to believe we can counter rhetoric with rhetoric. (Obama vs Keyes) I don't think it will work.
