They claimed. In other words, they lied. Everyone knows Hillary chose New York, and she did so because it's the most liberal state in the union. Her chances of winning were therefore extremely high. They didn't need her. She needed them.
In Illinois, it is FACT that Keyes was drafted, not a claim. He was invited, Hillary invaded. There's no wiggling around that difference.
In many ways, since she won the primary, her carpetbagging can attempt to claim more legitimacy than Keyes' carpetbagging.
Oh, so if Keyes really HAD carpetbagged like Hillary, staked out the state, and invaded Illinois months ago with the intention of gaining political advantage, THEN it would be OK!
