DNC Lawyers Work To Muzzle Swift Boat Vets' Ad

Posted on 08/06/2004 7:55:30 AM PDT by PFMRightNow

HUMAN EVENTS has obtained a copy of a letter (see below) which lawyers for the Democratic National Committee and John Kerry have sent to television station managers attempting to suppress the blistering anti-Kerry TV spot created by the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth.

John Kerry just can't stand it when someone comes out with the truth about him.

My question is: Is John Kerry the Manchurian Candidate? I think it might serve this country to keep repeating this question whenever and in whatever forum we can. After all, it is just a question, and we would never kneel at the alter of "let's tell lies and keep repeating them until all the morons fall for it." It's only a fair question... and if I happen to believe that it's possible he could be THE MANCHURIAN CANDIDATE...well....

"Did anyone see that harpy Susan Estrich...on Hannity last night?"

She's a witch. As soon as the guest would start to answer Hannity's question she'd butt in with, "My turn to ask a question." and never even allow the guy to finish, before raking him over the coals with stuff like, "You weren't actually ON Kerry's boat, were you?" And Hannity was letting her get away with it.
Estrich needs another double shot of Jack Daniel's and a Marlboro.

John Kerry is the
kindest,
gentlest,
warmest,
most wonderful human being I have ever known.

The Democrats have outsmarted us if we allow them to promote their candidate by what he did in a short FOUR MONTHS 30+ years ago. That is a clever bait which the Republicans have taken hook, line, and sinker.

HIS LIBERAL VOTING RECORD IN THE U.S. SENATE SPANNING 20 YEARS should be the primary measure by which he is judged.

Isn't it amazing that the same Democrats (including Kerry) who INSISTED that military service (let alone so-called "heroism") didn't make a bit of difference with Bill Clinton are now making that service the centerpiece of their glorification of Kerry?

Conservatives can be such chumps in taking this bait.

John Kerry must not be allowed to sidestep:

- the voting record he has amassed as a Radical Left US Senator,
- his lack of sponsorship of any significant legislation,

- his participation in only 11 of 49 Senate Intelligence Committee hearings.

Were that record hammered over and over again, how many Americans would believe he is serious about either intelligence gathering or defense of America?

Let's get off their bandwagon. Laugh at their insistence that, after Clinton, they dare to use military service as a measure of a leader, and get on with campaigning against the lack of leadership he has shown for the last 20 years of his life, for heaven's sake!!!!

I am quite sure that the, "Thomas Moore Law Center" would be happy to represent the Swift Boat Vets, in this little showdown. Truth always makes a liberal cringe in fear and become very, very hysterical. Bush/Cheney 2004

Ah! That nasty 1st Ammendment rears its ugly head again.

That's been dead since the Supreme Court ruled on the Campaign Finance Reform law.

This is the beauty of 527's.

Kerry runs from the truth of his militray records. There is a 527 to attack that issue.

Kerry runs from the truth of his senate records. There is a 527 to attack that issue.

Kerry is dead silent on his unaccomplished prosecutor years. There is a 527 to attack that issue.

A guiliani said, you can't attack just one mob family you have to attack them all.

We have to be relentless and attack kerry on ALL issues because he will spin to another defense.

We attack the on this he will spin another story.

Kerry can run from his records but he can not hide.
