2.5 yr old information?
How political.
Don't worry: this inconvenient fact will be summarily ignored.
Move along, nothing to see here...
No, the informaion is not 2.5 years old. THe person planning the attacks was planning the attack for 2.5 years. So it could not be related to Iraq or Spains involvement in Iraq.
They just wanted to kill people in Spain.
More from the article: "In June, Italian police released a surveillance tape of one of the alleged planners of the [Madrid] train bombings, an Egyptian housepainter named Rabei Osman Sayed Ahmed, who said that the operation "took me two and a half years." Heh! Kinda puts the left's complaint of, "Bush's actions are creating terrorists," argument down the crapper, doesn't it?
I fear it may be too late for liberals. The Democrat brainwashing began long before the terror attempt on Spain. Ever tried to reverse the thought process of a liberal?
