That did cross my mind. This could be part of an overall strategy to draw out discussion about specifics in the media.

Or the Swift Boat guys may have a series of ads to discuss specifics about Kerry's lying. One or two more ads would do it. Money could be a problem at the moment.

The ad is just the "teaser". Later ads, plus talk show appearances will bring out the "meat" and it's likely to be very red meat at that. :)

I heard a vet on WABC (Mark Levin Show) who was there when Kerry pulled the man on the boat....said that the man that the campaign is using is perpetuating Kerry's lie...The man that fell off a boat was on Kerry's boat and fell off when Kerry fled from the scene after another swiftboat hit a mine.

I didn't catch his name, but he was a commander of another swiftboat who was behind the boat that hit the mine and next to "Cut and Run" Kerry's boat. He read the After Action Report on the air.
