Kerry's More "Sensitive" War on Terror? (Yep, he said it!)
The New American Century ^ | August 5, 2004 | Gary Schmitt

Posted on 08/05/2004 1:11:01 PM PDT by quidnunc

Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry told an audience in Washington, D.C. today that if elected he would wage "a more sensitive war on terror." Aside from its amusing qualities, this statement adds to other evidence in Kerry's recent statements and speeches, including his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, that Kerry will be very hesitant to use force in his "war" on terrorism. Contrary to widespread accounts of his acceptance speech as hawkish, Kerry seems to believe that the struggle against terrorism can be won chiefly by strengthened alliances and public declarations.

Above all, Kerry seems opposed to taking pre-emptive military action against terrorists or against states that support them. In his convention speech, Kerry makes one reference to the need to "get terrorists before they get us," but it comes in this sentence: "And we need to rebuild our alliances, so we can get the terrorists before they get us." Insofar as that statement has any meaning, it suggests that Kerry is counting on allied law enforcement efforts.

Like I said, not a day goes by that this idiot doesn`t dig himself a deeper hole. May he dig all the way to China and stay there.

I guess instead of using bombs and bullets to neutralize our sworn enemies, John Kerry would propose a bake-off.

I know, right? Just about every week I hear about another website getting a cease and desist order for bashing this POS. Can you imagine what this idiot would be like as President? He`d make Clinton look like amateur hour. We`d have 5 year olds getting audited by the IRS for calling him names. "Mommy Heinz, call the lawyer! That boy called me Gomer!"

"I am so sorry that we have caused you to feel that you have no choice but to attack us. Why can't we all just get along? We can all sit down on Martha's Vineyard and I will give you a ride on my boat!"

Don't you guys get it. If we can just tell the terrorists that "we will win and they will lose", we can actually bypass the whole winning part. Part of this is doing it in a sensitive and sincere manner.

I believe this is the Neville Chamberlain strategy, "I have secured peace in our time"

Hitler of course said "I have secured a piece in my time"

I say kerry should be dropped right into the middle of Afghanistan, Iran, Syria or Iraq for that matter, all by his lonesome and see how "sensitive" he is.

Facials and foot massages for all the terrorists.

Kerry's More "Sensitive" War on Terror? (Yep, he said it!)

Kerry's going for the (former, Democratic) Represenative Patsy Schroeder
of Colorado Feminist Extremist Nutjob Vote.

(IIRC, Rep. Schroeder called the focused cruise-missile strike ordered by President
William Jefferson Blythe Clinton on Baghdad as sensitive...partly because the missiles
arrived after "work hours" and only killed some Iraqi janitors.)

This would make a great ad; Show Kerry calling Viet vets baby killers, and then show him asking that we be sensitive with terrorists and then show the WTC being attacked. They can call it negative campaigning, but to me it`s just repeating what he himself has said.

He will have to start sending cease and desist letters to individuals if he only knew what we were up to with e-mail.

His resume is priceless. LOL...

Resume

JOB APPLICATION

NAME: John Kerry

RESIDENCE: 7 mansions, including Washington, DC, worth multimillions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Law Enforcement. I voted to cut every law enforcement, CIA and defense bill in my career as a US Senator. I ordered Boston to remove a fire hydrant which I considered unsightly, in front of my mansion, thereby endangering my neighbors in the event of fire.

MILITARY:

I used three minor injuries to get an early discharge from the military and service in Vietnam (as documented by the attending doctor). I then returned to the US, joined Jane Fonda in protesting the war, and insulted returning Vietnam vets, claiming they committed atrocities and were baby killers. I threw my medals, ribbons, or something away in protest. Or did I? My book; Vietnam Veterans Against the War: The New Soldier shows how I truly feel about the military. I deplore the military!

COLLEGE:

I graduated from Yale University with a low C average. Unlike my counterpart George Bush, I have no higher education and did not get admitted to Harvard nor graduate with an M.B.A

PAST WORK EXPERIENCE:

I ran for U.S. Congress and have been there ever since. I have no real world experience except that of a gigolo, by marrying rich women and running HJ Heinz vicariously through my wife Teresa.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

As a US Senator I set the record for the most liberal voting record, exceeding even Ted Kennedy and Hillary Clinton. I have consistently failed to support our military and CIA by voting against budgets, thus gutting our country's ability to defend itself. Although I voted for the Iraq War, now I am against it and refuse to admit that I voted for it. I voted for every liberal piece of legislation. I have no plan to help this country but I intend to raise taxes significantly if I am elected.

My wealth so far exceeds that of my counterpart, George Bush, that he will never catch up. I make no or little charitable contributions and have never agreed to pay any voluntary excess taxes in MA, despite family wealth in excess of $700 million.

I (we) own 28 manufacturing plants (Heinz) outside of the U.S. in places like Asia, Mexico and Europe. We can make more profit from the cheaper cost of labor in those countries, although I blame George Bush for sending all of the jobs out of Country.

Although I claim to be in favor of alternative energy sources, Ted Kennedy and I oppose windmills off Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard as it might spoil our view of the ocean as we cruise on our yachts.

RECORDS AND REFERENCES:

None.

PERSONAL

I ride a Serotta Bike.

My Gulfstream V Jet I call The Flying Squirrel.

I call my $850,000 42-foot Hinckley twin diesel yacht the "Scarmouche."

I am fascinated by rap and hip-hop and feel it reflects our real culture.

I own several "Large" SUVs including one parked at my Nantucket summer mansion, though I am against large polluting inefficient vehicles and blame George Bush for the energy problems.

PLEASE CONSIDER MY EXPERIENCE WHEN VOTING IN 2004.
