I've been waiting for this and am surprised kerry didn't similarly threaten the authors of the prior and upcoming books revealing his actions. Says how much he knows the visual media is a killer on such issues.

I am also pretty darn sure the Swift Boat Vets for Truth have had long and consequence-laden discussions with a battery of attorneys, excellent legal minds, about what they would be facing if they stepped into the limelight to expose the slime. IMO, they are acting with equal, though a different form of, courage compared with 'nam.

And if kerry wants to bring it on, I believe he'll regret it, because these guys outnumber him and the mood of the country has been changed since he "testified" before the US Senate in 1971. Kerry doesn't seem to have comprehended the depth of the change or what it means. Or that his Senatorialness won't protect him in a lawsuit THIS big if he initiates it.

Something tells me the Swiftees are hankering for their day in court if it comes to that.

John O'Neill, a former Swiftboat commander an founder of this organization, IS himself a lawyer.

Man, I just sent the Swift Boat Vets for Truth a nice donation. This is the sort of thing I've been waiting for! Of course I want Bush to have nothing to do with this. He should just leave those Vietnam Veterans to express their own 1st ammendment rights just as Kerry's band of brothers did.

Kerry figures that:

1.) diehard Dims don't care and "anybody but Bush"
2.) most of the "undecided" are that way because they don't read non-fiction and get all their info from the lamestream,
which is loathe to report negatively on anything from the left.
3.) and CBS's 60 Minutes isn't going to notice an anti-Kerry book, unless the Clintons sanction it.
