I know I'm going to get pounced on for this, but I haven't gotten into the Stargate thing and I don't really get it. I think I might be influenced by a run-in with a Stargater (what do you call yourselves?) last summer. I was seated next to this lady at a wedding reception and somehow the conversation drifted to her looooong disertation on the Stargate program. It felt like a Star Trek convention from hell!

Star Trek

Ooo! Ooo! You said Star Trek ! ;)

We had friends over for the 4th, and the conversation turned to TV.

One of my best friends was talking about Star Trek, and he made the mistake of saying Doctor Spock instead of Mister Spock.

Hubby just started doing the eye-roll thing soon as the words left my friends mouth, 'cause he knew what was coming next -

and he was right! LOL!

Stargate is a VERY good show, I just can't seem to remember to tape it, and it's on too late for the girls to stay up.
