They bring up issues that kids in the age group the show is aimed at really don't need to be dealing with, and they really internalize it. They're not equipted to deal this stuff yet. We grew up with Opie and Beaver Cleaver. As a child, I would have hated to have had all those problems foisted upon me from every other "kid" show on TV.
