I definitely agree with Doc and Home Makeover. Have only seen one Joan of Arcadia, but enjoyed it very much.
My son and I enjoy watching Home Makeover together, and even watched the rerun of the soldier's surprise return to supervise the makeover of his family's home. GREAT stuff.
I've never seen Doc, but I do like Home Makeover. A couple of the guys on the design team are a little odd for my taste, but I think it's a great concept. It's quite touching to see how some of the folks react to their new digs.
