FYI, you we may disagree on porn (heh), but I've been Buffy fan since day 1. I have all the released seasons on DVD and would be happy to answer any character questions or anything like that if you ever have any.
I play devils advocate on porn all the time but the first time I saw a neked woman in a magazine I was about 10 and it changed my whole life. Not for the better.
Regarding Buffy, it is amazing how much we like this series. We just watched the ones yesterday in season 3 where Tammy turns herself into a rat because that demon which I think of as the spirit of salem had the town turned into witch burners. Then we saw the one where Giles poisons Buffy, it's called helpless. I think that was a bit out of character for him. Even if it was a tradition I really don't see him doing that. We all thought it was Giles' evil friend disguised. So it's a pretty tough I believe button to push but when you get past the idea of his poisoning her, it was extremely touching when he was fired for having a father's love for her. That was yet another misty eye moment for me. Earlier she was hinting to Giles to take her to the skating show that her dad cancelled on.
So far my wife's biggest cry moment was when she killed Angel. The opinion on imdb about the series is all over the map as far as best and worst seasons but one thing is sure, they agree it is some of the best TV ever and you can not watch an episode in a vacuum. Each entire season is dependent on all of the episodes.
I can't help but wonder if there is this 7 season spell being cast on my family and I turning us into pagans if we watch all 7 seasons in succession.
