And then (no matter when ) you'd blame Bush. Type in "laser isotope separation" and Iraq into google sometime and see what the Clinton administration was allowing them to develop. It is a technique that would let them refine uranium far better than the centrifuge method that libs so gleefully dismissed as being phony.

I'm sure that the reason why President Bush isn't apologizing for the absence of WMD is that President Bush still isn't convinced that there wasn't WMD, and I've heard him say as much in interviews. But what he needs to do is to tell the American people, "It's possible that there were no WMD in Iraq but we haven't finished our investigations. Rather than rushing into a statement that may have to be corrected later, I'm withholding my final judgement until the investigation is done.'
